Will It Ever Go Away

Those of you that know me well, know that I don’t usually EVER post updates on Social Media like this. I am very middle of the road when it comes to politics. With everything that’s going on now including all of our Country’s history, I realize this might not be the most realistic & rational statement. And probably my post is very redundant as well. As political as this post sounds, this has has to do with humanity. I recognize that racism may never go away- and it breaks my heart just like it breaks many other people’s hearts. Can’t we just try? I mean REALLY TRY a lot harder to love each other- hell, learn to like each other and respect each other at first, if that’s what it takes. Maybe I’m completely naïve in my way of hope and thinking, but I will not apologize for that. People are people, and we ALL need to remind ourselves of that. This world is falling apart- not just little by little, but in massive pieces. We are, without a doubt destroying each other TO THE DEATH. And more importantly, we are creating a very scary world for our children to grow up in. Weather you want to believe it or not, we are teaching our children how to live in hell, and that is not in any way OK. Are you OK raising your children and hell- because I’m not. Justify it all you want, but it is definitely not OK to allow our children to have to grow up in a world that consists of complete chaos, fear, sexism and racism. Please, let’s all try to be human, or this world will definitely not survive. (TangoTalks/Teresa Slater)

A Perspective Is Simply An Opinion

The truth is the truth- regardless of other peoples’ perspectives. Perspectives are simply opinions, and a lot of times it’s a lack of knowledge. The truth is there- it always has been and always will be. The truth can be cruel, it can come out of nowhere like a war, it can be hard to believe & accept, it can hurt like something awful, it can feel like a betrayal, but sadly, the truth is the truth- and the truth can be a bastard. The hardest part of it all, is to trust the truth when you don’t want to believe it.
